Valeria Rivera Deneke

Senior Designer

A Senior Designer at AW–ARCH, Valeria has both professional and community-based experience with institutional, residential, and urban design projects in the US and abroad. She has worked with organizations that provide architectural solutions to social issues such as homelessness and disaster relief, and has designed furniture that spotlights local craftsmanship in Central America. Her design perspective is both holistic and finely grained, critically informing her work as an AW team member.

Valeria received an M.Arch. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and Planning, and a B.S. Arch. with a minor in Architectural History from the University of Virginia.
