Nick Winton, AIA
Co-Founder / Principal
Nick Winton co-founded AW–ARCH in 1992. For more than 30 years, the firm has completed a broad range of notable institutional, commercial, and residential projects in the US and abroad. Nick and co-founder Alex Anmahian direct the design of all projects at AW, including buildings, art installations, industrial objects, and furniture. The firm's work has been published widely and has been awarded the highest honors within the design industry.
In addition to AW's practice, Nick teaches, lectures, and serves as visiting critic at leading design schools across the country. He is a member of the Harvard GSD Alumni Council, a former Architect in Residence at the Addison Gallery of America Art at Phillips Academy, Andover, and a former Trustee of the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston.
Nick received an M.Arch. from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and a B.A. from Brown University.
