Mazen Sakr

Principal

Mazen is a Principal at AW–ARCH, and is involved with all phases of project development for many institutional, commercial, and residential projects at AW–ARCH. His ability to maintain a holistic understanding of a project while interpreting its design essentials into constructible reality makes him an important member of AW–ARCH’s team for such projects as Harvard University’s Knafel Center at the Radcliffe Institute, Gemma Observatory, and Emigrant Lake Boathouse. Mazen is founder of the online  journal The Lebanon Architect and is a recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal. He is a lecturer in Architectural Design at Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences and has been a visiting critic at architecture schools locally and in the Midwest.

Mazen has an M.Arch. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a B.S. summa cum laude from Kent State University.
